Basic Scavenger Hunt
Let us see who can be the first to obtain all the items! This event can be custom tailored to the needs of the group. We will use the entire property to find anything and everything! Do you have an argyle sock?
The team to return with all the necessary items collected in the least amount of time will win the prize.

Beyond Balderdash™
The classic bluffing game... It is not a test of one’s knowledge. In fact, you are not expected to know the questions/answers in the game. The object is to make up answers that will bluff other players.
There are five categories to choose from for each round:
Words (what is the definition of this word?)
People (what is this person famous for?)
Movies (what is this movie about?)
Initials (What do these initials stand for?)
Dates (what happen on this date?)
The facilitator will pick one of the five categories, documenting the real/correct answer. Each group must work together to make up an answer that other players will pick from. Once each group has written their answer down, the facilitator will collect all the answers, mix them up and then read them out-loud, allowing each group to pick which answer they think is the real/correct answer. Groups will be awarded points for guessing the real/correct answer as well as getting their answer picked as the real/correct answer.

BINGO™
This classic game is fun for everyone. The facilitator will provide all the supplies and call the numbers. See if you can be the first one with the correct numbers.

Bird Watching
Many unusual and exotic birds come to the Catskills, especially with the warmth of the summer months.
We will provide books and binoculars for your data and fact finding. Advanced notice is required to order appropriate supplies. Prices will vary based on time and number of participants and the request of a facilitator.

Boat Building
Team Building at its best! Teams race against the clock to build working, human-powered boats using minimal supplies and a lot of ingenuity. Building the boat is only part of the fun. Teams also have to decorate and name their crafts, appoint a team captain and create a wacky team cheer that they will have to share with all.
After completing their watercraft, the challenge really begins. Teams will head to our indoor pool where they put their talents to the test. One at a time the teams will christen their boats with an introduction and cheer. Then it is time to put them in the water to compete for the best time in our indoor pool. The Captain will be required to be in the boat from start to finish. Advanced Notice is required to obtain appropriate amount of supplies.

BOCCE
Good-Old Fashion Fun!. Bring the Italian out of you with this game of strategy and luck. A facilitator will coordinate the teams, review and explain the rules and provide gold and silver medals for the 1st & 2nd team winners. 2 people per team. (8 people minimum)
Length of Event 1.0 – 1.5 hours (depending on how many teams)

Bon Fire
Do you remember being a kid and standing around the campfire with a marshmallow burning at the end of a stick? Do it all over again up at the Villa Roma Ski Chalet. You and your guests can enjoy the sunset, gather around the fire, toast your marshmallows and reminisce. We will even provide chocolate and grahams crackers to complete the experience with s’mores.
We can also arrange for an acoustic guitar player (at an additional charge) to serenade your group until the last ember’s burn out.

Croquet
Our property provides the perfect landscape for croquet. Our officiate will referee games for those who have already mastered the mallets or provide tips and instruction for the novice.

Culinary Demonstrations and Cooking Classes
Let our Executive Chef & Adjunct Professor, CIA Graduate, Tom Kutschera C.E.C.; lead you in an informative & useful demonstration with both the Villa Roma’s and his personal recipes. Lecture, Demonstration, sample food…
Pricing: Starts at $200 up to 1 hour to include basic food (up to 50 pp)

The chef teaches nutrition at S.C.C.C. and can tailor a one-hour lecture on good eating, the food pyramid, & 7 guidelines for good living…
Pricing: No food $100
We can customize any culinary program, prices vary based on food, time & number of culinary participants.

Family Fued
Survey Says… now even more fun for everyone! This game challenges players to match the most popular survey answers to win.
Length of Event 1-3 hours (depends on numbers of participants)

Horseshoes
Villa Roma is the best place for a competitive game of horseshoes, we have three official pits that can be used for a tournament setting. Good-old-fashion-fun!

Horse Races
Bringing off track betting to the Villa Roma. With your $1 bets, you win that money back and then some if you picked that horse to come in first. Set up for 1 winner only. There are 6 volunteer horses needed and the facilitators will take care of the dollar bets and completing the odds for each horse. The races begin with 3 dice being rolled out and the horses move one at a time in accordance to what number came up on each dice. The track consists of 10 spaces. The most one horse can move forward is three spaces each role. (To make this type of gambling legal, 10% is donated to the local fire department as there are a non-profit organization)

Initiative Scavenger Hunt
Let us see what team can figure out the clue locations and acquire all the items necessary. This initiative scavenger hunt is designed to get everyone acquainted with our beautiful and very large property, our facilities, dining outlets, as well as some of the history of the resort.
The team with the most pertinent information, necessary items and is back in the least amount of time, receives the most points.
Length of Event 1.5 – 2.5 hours

Lawn Cotillion
Our property provides the perfect landscape for croquet. Our official will referee games for those whom have already "mastered the mallets", or provide tips and instructions for the novice. This event can be custom-designed into a lavish afternoon activity, complete with Gatsby dress and elegant foods.
Length of Event 1.5 – 2.5 hours for croquet tournament (Each round is allotted 15 minutes.)
Pricing: Starts at $300 No more than 3 courts.
Additional courts at $50 per court. (18+p)

Line Dancing
Do you like the Electric Slide, Hands Up, of even The Hustle. If you do then this is for you. Learn different line dances. From beginner all the way to advanced. A good work out as well. Fun for all ages. Learn the Country Shuffle all the way to the Tush Push.
Length of Event: 30 – 60 minutes or longer
Pricing: $50/hr.

Name-that-Tune
All kinds of music are used, from the 40’s to the 21st century. See if your group can name the song or knows what movie it was in. Good classic fun for all ages!
